In a nod to the original
Planet Money T Shirt Project, The Indicator presents our new mascot, Indy for the next animal spirit shirt. Like the original squirrel with martini glass, the design references a famous quote from economist John Maynard Keynes about the humanity in economics, about how all of us make economic decisions because of emotions, impulse, desires or, the “animal spirits” within us. We’ve updated it for 2024, down to the fine print on Indy’s beverage. And yes, we know beer isn’t a spirit. Cheers!
